Also just to pre-warn that if you use Bakkes Mod to change any aspect of your vehicle, only players who have Bakkes Mod installed will see the identical design. Unfortunately, players are unable to have black as their primary color on either blue or red teams. This is because, in my opinion, the Meteoroid decal only works with a black primary color adding to the realism of a meteor traveling through space. Now I have cheated a little bit with this one! This particular design only works for PC players who have Bakkes Mod installed. Remember, that’s just my personal preference. I only found that black worked well as a secondary color. This is lower down in my top 10 because of the lack of color combinations that I felt worked, otherwise, it would be much higher. Released in October 2019, the Glorifier decal is one of the cheaper black market decals.
The unpainted 20XX has too many colors changing color in one go for me. However, I really recommend getting this decal in any painted version. This is one of few black market decals that I do not like the unpainted version. The 20XX decal was released in March 2017 in two crates: Turbo crate and Nitro crate. In the image, I have used the standard orange that the majority of people use with this, but I believe it can go with all colors as long as the primary color is bright. It was so popular, that Pysonix involved the decal in all 4 Champions crates. The oldest decal in my top 10 list! The Heatwave has been available in the game since September 2016. If you do like the layout in the image then the items and colors used are. This is another black market decal that can work with many different color combinations so have a play with whatever floats your boat. The Mainframe decal has been around a while but unlike many others, I never get bored of seeing this one. This offers a clean look and eliminates the car being being completely blue Even though it is one of the cheaper black market decals, it still makes it into my top 10.
ROCKETSHIP DECALS SERIES
The Tidal Stream black market decal was launched in March 2020 within the Ignition Series release.
The wheels used in this NRG car design are the black Cristiano. This is the identical decal for blue and orange team and is one of the only ways to get an all black car without using Bakkes Mod. And their organisation decal crushes their opponents’ too! Whether you support NRG or not, you have to agree that this decal has a clean, stealthy look. As of December 2021, NRG are arguably the most successful team in Rocket League history. If you are a Rocket League fan and do not know who NRG are, then you must have been living under a rock. An iced look on the blue team and a burning fire on the red team is my go-to designs. To this date, it is still one of my favorite decals in the game. The Dissolver Rocket League decal was released in April 2018. The black market decal takes my number one spot as it has a space-themed design that can work with almost all color patterns. It has since caught the eye of almost everyone in the game. All images are taken in an Octane making it easier for you to compare designs.
